As Holy Week unfolds before us, the Church invites us once again to enter the Paschal Mystery - the saving mystery of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. It is not only something we remember; it is a mystery we are called to live. It is in that spirit that I share....

All Catholics are united in two Lenten practices. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast for those ages 18-59. Only one full meal and two smaller meals should be consumed, unless health conditions preclude. For those of age 14 and above, Ash Wednesday and all Fridays in Lent, are days of abstinence where no meat should be eaten.

This past week our collaborative parishes were blessed by a grace-filled Lenten Mission led by Fr. Thomas Macdonald. Many parishioners shared how meaningful his message was - both comforting and challenging in the best way. Fr.
