CYO Basketball

The St. Martha/St. Mary CYO Basketball program offers boys and girls in grades 5–12 from Wrentham and Plainville the opportunity to compete as part of the Norfolk Vicariate in the Archdiocese of Boston CYO Basketball League.

Unlike a recreational or instructional league, CYO basketball is a competitive program designed to help players grow their skills, develop teamwork, and play at a higher level. Practices are held on weekdays beginning in early November. Games are held on weekends starting in December and run through the end of February.

Each division can host up to two teams. Divisions are broken down by grade- a 5/6 division, a 7/8 division, a 9/10 division and a 11/12 division. Tryouts/evaluations are held prior to the season to determine team placements. All players must be registered for tryouts in order to be considered.

Dedicated coaches and assistant coaches are needed to help lead our teams. All volunteers (18 and older)must complete a CORI background check each year.
