The Light of Hope support group provides a view of grieving through the eyes of the scripture. It helps to explore losses and our belief in God by relating to stories of Jesus and others in the Bible to open ourselves to God’s consolation and healing. At the time of His death, Jesus made sure that the people he was leaving behind were taken care of. Jesus would be with them in their grief....

The food pantry of Plainville appreciates every donation. Donated food can be dropped off by the elevators.Pick-up is usually the 4th Sunday of the month. There is also a weather protected box located behind the Methodist Church for non-perishable food donations throughout the week.
