The Plainville Community Scholarship Fund, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will offer $1500 scholarships to several applicants for the coming 2017-2018 academic year. In order to be eligible, applicants must reside in Plainville and be attending an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or trade school. Further, they must have completed a full year of academic study already at this educational institution.
The third session of Faith Matters will welcome Sister Theresa Aletheia Noble, F.S.P. on this Monday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. as Sister Theresa reflects upon her own faith journey, first away from the Church and her later return to the Church and her embrace of a vocation as a Daughter of Saint Paul. Sister Theresa will offer practical advice from her book, “The Prodigal You Love: How To Invite Loved Ones Back to the Church” to those who are experiencing the pain that their own loved ones have taken that same journey away from the Church.
