After a period of declining health, Lorraine Cipriano, the wife of our Senior Deacon Tony, passed peacefully to the Lord on October 27. Sadly, this happened only three weeks after Deacon Tony's mother passed, so this is an exhausting....
Before the seat belt law took effect, I would scrunch on the car floor behind my mom when she drove us across the Ohio River on the “Swinging Bridge.” My fear of bridges (and drowning) recently resurfaced as I began planning a trip to Ohio to visit family. My anxiety about driving the solo trip, coupled with the need to cross a long New York bridge, resulted in feelings of panic....

In keeping with the church’s tradition of praying for all our beloved deceased in November, we set the parish’s “Book of Names” in the baptistry of each church next to the Paschal Candle until the beginning of Advent. Please inscribe any new names of your beloved deceased in the book. We will remember them in prayer, especially now through Advent.
