Since I learned that Cardinal Seán was assigning Fr. Patrick Chibuko to our collaborative parishes, I have been looking forward to more than just having another priest around to share the ministry duties! This past week, the town of Wrentham gave tribute and large crowds celebrated funeral rites for our Deputy Police Chief, George Labonte. It brought back memories of the funeral we celebrated at St. Martha six years ago for our parishioner and retired Plainville Police Chief, Ned Merrick.
