We don’t even get our St. Martha Parish mail at the street address – we have been using Post Office Box 1745 for a long time and will continue to use that for all postal mail - so why do we need a new street address? And why am I bothering to write about it in a column?....

Faith Formation for Youth: Pre Confirmation (7/8 Grade) has class February 4 from 4:00-7:00pm. Confirmation 1 has a retreat on Saturday February 10th from 12:00-6:30 pm at St. Martha.

Throats will be blessed after all Masses during the weekend of February 3rd and 4th at St. Martha and St. Mary. The Blessing of the Throat is a sacramental of the Catholic Church, celebrating the connection of St. Blaise & throat diseases. The minister uses two crossed candles to touch the throat while saying a special healing prayer.

We are seeking a percussionist for the 5:00 Sunday evening contemporary Masses at St. Mary's. Candidates must own their own portable equipment. We are particularly interested in musicians who can play/provide rhythm....

The Holy Family is our model for family. Our own families are a domestic church. On the Weekend of January 20th and 21st our individual families and parish family will make our prayer to the Holy Family for their help, guidance, and protection. Following the 9:30 Mass at St Mary, the Knights will have a social with coffee and snacks.
